Lady Bug Sleep Sack

Evening all!! I thought I’d share with you my latest creation which is a lady bug sleep sack and best thing of all is its a free. People go crazy for these and they make great gifts so its no wonder there’s such a wide variation of patterns and styles out there.

For this one I used my go-to sleep sack pattern, all DC’s which makes it work up nice and quick. Mine fits a 0-3mth, if you want a bigger size I suggest throwing in a few more increases after round 6. Here it is;

HEADBAND

P1060970

I used a pattern for a dainty little headband which you can find at http://mymerrymessylife.com/2012/03/crochet-shell-headband-free-crochet-pattern-2.html and for the antennae I chained 20, 2sc 2nd ch from hook and 2sc in each ch to end of row. Attach to the top of the headband.

And voila, congrats, you have yourself a little lady bug sleep sack!! You can use the same pattern (without the spots) for any sleep sack in any color so get creative and don’t forget to show me your fantabulous work!!
